Model mixing Wrangler and Gladiator teased for Jeep Easter Safari

The latest teaser of a vehicle being part of the annual Jeep Easter Safari offers intriguing mystery as it mentions the mixing of two models: the Wrangler and the Gladiator. The accompanying image does not reveal the answer to the secret.
According to Jeep:
Have you ever wondered what the mix of two powerful off-roaders like the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator might look like? What if a truck dared to look more like an SUV to increase its departure angle? The latest Jeep concept for this year’s Easter Jeep Safari reimagines what the ultimate off-roader dares to be, offering an abundance of four-wheel confidence and a pinch of freedom in the open.
If you look at the teaser image (above), you can see a glimpse of what appears to be a cargo area in the back. At the front, a hood with a prominent scoop is visible and there are vents on the side. The suspension appears to be higher than stock and the truck rides on off-road tires. There are no doors.
The suggestion that this is a truck with an improved departure angle has us wondering if Jeep is creating a pickup similar to the CJ-8 Scrambler of the 1980s. This model took the CJ -7 existing and gave him a fairly small bed. The result was a vehicle with better handling than a full-size pickup but with reduced load capacity.

Jeep has already teased three other vehicles for this year’s Easter Safari. The presentations for them have been more enigmatic than for this Wrangler (or Gladiator). One showed the front end of a blue Grand Cherokee without any significant modifications.
Another teaser was just a partial QR code in the form of a gladiator. This one is even more mysterious.
Jeep also appears to be teasing a 20th anniversary edition of the Wrangler Rubicon. The teaser shot is just of the vehicle’s hood with a “20” exposing above the “Rubicon” logo. It also appears to have the 392 emblem and an American flag on the front fender.
This year’s Jeep Easter Safari will run from April 9-17. We might have a few more teasers by then, but it’s not too long to wait to see what the brand is up to this year.
